Move on to Monte-Carlo and take a spin on a roulette wheel before falling in love with Florence, steeped in art, culture, and timeless elegance. With an overnight stay in Livorno, you’ll also have time to explore picture-perfect Pisa. Then we’re off to live la dolce vita in Rome. Even if you’ve been to the Eternal City before, there’s always something new to discover.
In Amalfi, travel up winding seaside roads to experience turquoise tones and sweeping views that put any postcard to shame. Voyage Itinerary on the Azamara Pursuit
Join me on this incredible 10-night voyage in some of the most stunning sites in the Mediterranean this September 2018.
Day 1 - Sept. 12, 2018 Embark: Barcelona is a cosmopolitan masterpiece. With a history rich in art and architecture, medieval, Gothic, and modern influences can be seen all over the city. Start at the waterfront and stroll up the shady, tree-lined Las Ramblas boulevard and discover some of the city's best shopping and bustling cafes.
Day 2 - Sept. 13, 2018 Saint Tropez, France: Stroll along the harbour and marvel at the yachts, many of which dwarf the surrounding buildings. Join other jet setters on one of the fabulous beaches, some of which are clothing optional. Ooh, la la! For lunch, the old fishing quarter La Ponche has plenty of seafood restaurants serving the day’s freshest catches and refreshing rosés, a regional specialty.
Day 3 - Sept. 14, 2018 - Monte Carlo, Monaco: You don’t need luck on your side to have an unforgettable time in Monte Carlo! Home to the legendary Grand Casino and the Monaco Grand Prix—one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events—Monte Carlo lives up to its reputation in every way. Drive the Monaco Grand Prix route in a performance vehicle, visit the Grand Casino, or roll the dice and explore the breathtaking beauty of the city.
Day 4 + 5 Sept. 15-16, 2018 - Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy: The port city of Livorno has many charms of its own: the canals of La Venezia Nuova (New Venice), which date back to the Medici era, the Mercato Centrale, and the chessboard-style Terrazza Mascagni promenade, to name a few. But Livorno is also the gateway to the magnificent art and architecture, palaces, churches and museums of Florence, as well as Pisa’s famous leaning tower. Decisions, decisions!

Operatic Eventing at the Goldoni Theatre - AZAMAZING EVENING
Venture into the heart of Livorno for an operatic evening of pure Tuscan splendour. Following dinner aboard the ship, a quick drive leads to Cavour Square in Livorno, where you'll set off on a short 5-minute walk to the Goldoni Theatre. Open in 1847, this grand showplace is most certainly one of the most stunning in Italy. You'll be greeted and shown to your reserved seat for the evening's hallmark – an operatic performance by the sensational Incanto Quartet. These four sopranos, accompanied by a masterful pianist, will dazzle you with the works of Italian favourites, as well as a few renditions of more contemporary songs. Incanto Quartet has the remarkable ability to move across various styles and epochs with melodious ease. After the show, a short 5-minute walk leads to the motor coaches that will take you back to the ship, where the evening's celebration is sure to continue.
Day 6 - Sept. 17, 2018 - Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy: Always enchanting, the Eternal City will captivate you—no matter how many times you visit. Walk in the steps of gladiators at the Coliseum, channel your inner statesman at the Forum, or gaze up in wonder at Michelangelo's masterwork at St. Peter's Basilica. Pasta and vino are a must, and there are plenty of places to relax and refuel after a day of exploration.
Day 7 - Sept. 18, 2018 - Amalfi, Italy: Live it up in the land of limoncello. Perched on one of the world's most stunning coastlines, Amalfi delivers a true Italian experience. Discover unique shops and galleries, take a thrilling cliffside drive, or stay close to the shore and live la dolce vita.
Day 8 - Sept. 19, 2018 - Giardini Naxos (Sicily), Italy: For rest and relaxation, Giardini Naxos is just the ticket, with a coast that seems to stretch on for miles. To the left looms Mount Etna, Italy’s largest active volcano. Hikes to the top are only advised for experienced hikers (dress warmly!), but the Silvestri Craters are fun to explore at any skill level. Or head to the hilltop town of Taormina, one of the most beautiful places in all of Sicily.
Day 9 - Sept. 20, 2018 - Day at sea: Spend the day sailing in style aboard your boutique hotel at sea. Indulge in a treatment at Sanctum Spa, stay ship shape with a class at our fitness center, or lounge the day away on our sunny pool deck.
In the evening, savour inspired Italian cuisine at Aqualina, or relish in a classic steakhouse experience at Prime C. Plus, you’ll find plenty of exciting evening entertainment, from thrilling shows at Cabaret Lounge to intimate performances in the Living Room.
Day 10 - Sept. 21, 2018 - Nafplio, Greece: Prepare to fall in love with Nafpilo! Known as one of Greece’s most romantic towns, Nafpilo is home to beautiful Venetian homes and neoclassical mansions, as well inspiring views of Argolic Gulf. Explore the 18th-century Palamidi fortress with someone special, and spend your evening strolling through the idyllic narrow city streets, hand in hand and making memories to last a lifetime.
Day 11 - Sept. 22, 2018 - Piraeus (Athens), Greece: Start your journey in Piraeus with an archaeological walk past landmarks like the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Ancient Agora, and of course, the Acropolis. Afterwards, head to the Central Market for a feast of fresh fruit and veggies, nuts, olives, and Grecian cheese. Finally, check out a local taverna where you can rub elbows with the locals well into the wee hours of the night.
