Canadian physical education teacher, James Naismith, invented the game of basketball in 1891. One hundred and twenty eight years later, Canadian NBA team, the Toronto Raptors, made history in game six of the 2019 NBA Championships against the San Francisco Warriors bring the NBA Trophy to Canadian soil for the first time in the National Basketball Association's history.
