We had the pleasure of experiencing the Epicurean Portuguese Experience (Taste of Portugal) curated by Dean, and I must say, it was seamless and an experience of a lifetime. Dean took the time to understand our travel preferences and needs as a couple, allowing us to customize our trip exactly the way we wanted.
From the moment we boarded our flight, every aspect of our journey was meticulously planned and executed. The selection of hotels, VIP transport services, dining reservations, and even the app housing our detailed itinerary, everything was taken care of, leaving no stone unturned.
Upon landing, we were greeted by a concierge service that made us feel like celebrities with VIP transportation. Their attention to detail and warm welcome set the tone for the entire trip.
Our stay at The Yeatman was nothing short of exceptional. The service was top-notch, the views were breathtaking, and the spa was an oasis of relaxation. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast that started our days on a high note. Although we didn't try the dinner restaurant, we have no doubt it would have been equally fabulous.
Our tour guide, Celia, was an absolute delight. Not only was she fun and kind, but her deep knowledge of Portugal brought the country to life before our eyes. Her enthusiasm and passion for sharing the culture and history of Portugal with us made our experience even more memorable.
One of the highlights of our trip was our visit to Quinta da Pacheca. This unique and peaceful vineyard offered not only great wines but also a fun and immersive experience. We felt connected to the land and the winemaking process, making it a an authentically Portuguese experience.
Another standout was Ludovice Palace. The stunning views, perfect location, and attentive staff made our stay magical and memorable. We enjoyed the wine in our beautifully decorated room, made use of the fantastic gym facilities, and indulged in the spa treatments. And of course, the breakfast was another delightful experience that left us energized for the day ahead.
One of the most romantic experiences was the boat tour in Porto. It was not only convenient but also provided us with an indelible memory. Sailing along the picturesque river, we were able to take in the beauty of Porto and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Lastly, we cannot recommend Casario enough. Located right on the Duoro River, the food was superb, and the view was stunning. From the moment we entered, we felt welcomed, and every bite was a delight. The bread, in particular, was unlike anything we've tasted before.
