Celebrity Cruises' emphasis on LGBTQ inclusion feels authentic and they are truly making an earnest effort in showing their support in Gender and Sexual Diversity. During the month of June (prior to the COVID time of pause) Celebrity would celebrate pride month fleet-wide. Celebrity Cruises was one of the first cruise lines to be transparent (2014) in their support of LGBTQ with the elimination of secret meetups under the guise of "Friends of Dorothy" adapting a proud stance of listing the "LGBTQ Social Hour" explicitly in the daily program.
Celebrity is also one of the first cruise lines to embrace gender equality with the first female captain - Captain Kate McCue as well as having a ship's executive team all female. They not only talk the talk, but walk the walk. This is an important distinction as it also has an effect on the general passenger and crew make up. They all embrace diversity and inclusion and is most likely why Celebrity is one of my favourite cruise lines - I can just be myself and comfortable in doing so.

Celebrity Cruises, part of the Royal Caribbean family, is leading the charge in advance health and wellbeing technology for their cruise fleets. When it is safe to return to sailing you will see many new health protocols to help ensure the safety and wellbeing of both passengers and crew.
Some of the steps being taken are regular reviews of the ports of call. Working with the local port authorities and destinations to ensure the safety of the ship. You will see enhanced health screenings for embarkation to ensure all passengers and crew are in good health prior to getting on the ship.
